STAIRCASES
Although there is no standard range
of products as such, the company has
developed standard constructural techniques
which permit the solution of most access
problems. Straight flight, spiral and
dog-leg staircases are normally constructed
from mild steel, with column supports,
although designs for cantilevering off
an adjacent wall can also be manufactured.
Various stringers are available in rolled
hollow section or flat mild steel section.
A variety of types of tread can be supplied,
including metal tray sections for filling
with concrete on site, these have the
advantages of solidity, fire resistance
and quietness in use, and may be carpeted
on site or covered with vinyl flooring.
